Y'all may know that internet animator couple Jaltoid, and you might even know their frequent collaboration with another artsy couple: DoopieDoOver (known for her Planet Dolan work) and her fiancé Jess (@kamenjess on Twitter). They were very good friends, even living together in a big ol' house at one point, and collaborated frequently in their videos. The had a podcast together called the LazyCast Podcast that had 3 "seasons" and made a bunch of Jaltoid Media let's plays together.

However, at some point their was a... disagreement behind the scenes that we aren't exactly privy to the details of, causing the two couples to split up with each other. But the kicker is that Jaltoid not only removed any videos they ever did with Doop and Jess, they went out of their way to scrub every last picture of them off of their Twitter.

So the entire LazyCast Podcast was taken off of YouTube and other places too, alongside entire series of videos on the Jaltoid Media channel. A lot of LazyCast survives because Jess (who strongly disagrees with the decision to take down these videos despite being involved in the first place) was able to repost them through Soundcloud and Google Drive (though oddly leaving Season 3's Episodes 7 and 9 despite them being hosted here? soundcloud.com/lazycast). But this still leaves gaps in the episode listing. There was a Patreon CD and flash drive for Season 1's episodes, which Jess himself would have access to (the AfterCast episodes also being mostly-exclusive to that Patreon, thus in a similar situation).

Warms my heart to see that this podcast was cared for. I know this post is 2 years old, but I'd like to give some info that wasn't in the original forum post or in the wiki page that I thought would be relevant.

In the corpse of the Lazycast subreddit, a reply by a user named kiminkiis was sent to Jess's post about the episodes being up on Soundcloud.

They talk about how they've saved the podcast's episodes in a google drive link from their mp3 download.

It contains 2 episodes that were thought to have been lost previously, those two being the season 2 finale and one of the free Aftercasts that weren't exclusive to the patrons [Marry F_k or Kill].

The rest of the podcast episodes still may be with either the patrons or previous fans of the podcast, the former possibly having the Patreon exclusive Aftercasts. Just throwing out whatever I can, but there was a Lazycast Discord wiki that was made as an in-joke between the members of their now gone (assumedly, I wasn't there and the invite on the wiki page has expired) Discord server.

The last bit of activity there that I could find was that in the December of 2023, Jess's page was altered. It's a loose connection, but there may still be more people with possible files that could help in restoring the episodes.

As for the podcast art, the Lazycast twitter's got some, but I haven't really checked there that thoroughly. Podchaser seems to have saved all the episode art, including the 2 free Aftercasts', though the aspect ratio isn't the same as the art present in the Youtube uploads.

Podchaser seems to have also saved the episode order, though I find it confusing, as season one's episode 14 has 2 separate names, one of them in the Lazycast season 1 CD being [DoobieDoOver], and the other as Podchaser calls it [Getting High in LA / Gabe the Dog], the episodes could've been the same, just with different names but I'm not so sure about that.

Completely unsure about the lost Jaltoid videos, but I do remember a Youtube channel that had all the found Lazycast episodes in a playlist or something that I can't seem to find anywhere, the information wasn't anything new but it was a pretty convenient way of listening to it. Also I'm getting an error message with the document here at the end, so I'm not sure what that contains.

Ayyyyy, I actually stumbled across the Reddit page just now and wasn't aware by complete coincidence it had also been reported on here recently.

If that's the YT channel I'm thinking of, the stuff was simply moved to the Internet Archive.

I kinda forget what that document was.
