I don't exactly know if this is something the lost media wiki would want to showcase, but I personally want to discuss it because its very interesting. Carousel was a project made for the famous virtual band by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, Gorillaz. It was supposed to be their third album after the self titled album and Demon Days. Recording was done during the span of June 2008 to November 2009 before getting scrapped and shifted into their offical third album, Plastic Beach. A couple songs done for Carousel eventually made it into Plastic Beach, said songs being "Stylo" and "Broken". A song demo known as "Electric Shock" is known to be from the album as it was showcased on BBC radio. It remains unfinished and unreleased, though copies of it can be found online and a segment of the demo was sampled for the track "Rhinestone Eyes" on the Plastic Beach album. It is currently unknown if any other tracks were completed for Carousel as no other songs from the album have surfaced. Its very likely that some tracks exist somewhere as more than a year of recording should contain some juicy material, but as of now, we don't know.
