Hullo, first time poster here!
I have become interested in collecting media from children's anime shows, most notably Hamtaro. One of the cool promotional items for the movies were a series of "fanbooks." Fanbooks often have art, interviews, character summaries, song lyrics, behind the scenes stuff, pics of merch, etc. As of now, I have been able to find 3/4 of the movie fanbooks, including Movies 1, 2, and 4. Strangely enough, however, I CANNOT find the fanbook for the third movie available ANYWHERE on the internet.
The 3/4 fanbooks were obtained through Mercari, Ebay, and Mandarake. Despite months of on and off searches through Japanese, Chinese, and English, I have yet to find anything EXCEPT a few entries on Japanese sites like Bookoff/Rakuten (never listed as available).
I don't THINK that the 3rd book is Lost Media, I'm sure someone or some used bookstore in Japan has it, but it is curious to me that it is SO hard to find. Was the 3rd movie just a financial bomb or something?
Also, as a random aside, TMS Entertainment has English language titles and short summaries for all of the movies, despite the fact that they were never dubbed in English. No links to buy or stream the movies either.
Any thoughts? Again, if people would like to assist, I can provide images. I do think the book is just out of print, though why only ONE book would be SO hard to obtain is a mystery to me....
