A weird question. Essentially, if a ride has been closed or defunct do you consider it "permanent" lost media even if it's well documented? A few examples would be ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter (Disney) or the Back to the Future ride (Universal Studios). They are both heavily documented and have ride POV videos online but you will never be able to actually experience them ever again.
To me, it's a maybe. The ride experience is permanent lost media but the ride itself is not really. Defunct rides are in a such weird lost limbo.
