in Australia there was a Australian Children's TV Series Called "The Ferals" Aired Between 1994-1995 on ABC TV and last replayed in 2004. the shows was about a bunch of Feral animals Rattus the Rat, Modigliana the Cat, Mixy the Rabbit and Derryn the Dog. They live in a abandoned Garden Shed but when Joe King moves into the House and he wants then out of the Shed also living next door 2 University Students Leonard and Robbie. The Ferals have run-ins with Keith the Koala and Kylie the Kangaroo. The Show had a different Plot every episodes. The Show had a bunch of Spin-offs like Feral TV (1995-1997), The Educational show "Numbers Count" with Rattus and Modi, the Pet Magazine show "Creature Features" with Modi and the Pre-School Morning Block Show "Mixy" (1998-2002). But I'm here to talk about a Episode that's Missing from You Tube. 30 Episodes are on you tube but there is a Un-aired Pilot that was made to get the Executives to Green-light the show. From my sources it was made sometime between 1992-93. The Plot for the Episode is Unknown but Modi Puppeteer "Mal Heap" did not play Modi in the Pilot. From what I heard from Ross Browning a Puppeteer who I Friends with approached with Alan Highfield the Creator of the Show "Wendy Gray" who also Directed Episodes in 1991 of Mr. Squiggle. Ross and Alan asked about Working on the Show. She said "We want new Puppeteers to work on the Show". But one of Ross and Alan's Friends "Janette Dalgliesh" who worked with them on The Maestro's Company (SBS, 1984) and The New Adventures of Blinky Bill (ABC TV, 1984-1987) she also worked on Lift-Off (ACTF/ABC-TV, 1992-1995) as "Dorris the Pig", EC plays Lift-Off (ABC, 1994) and Controlling Sheep Ears on the 1995 film "Babe". Janette Dalgliesh played Modi in the Un-aired Pilot. You tube channel "Modi01" who is Mal Heap said "He has a copy of the Pilot on a VHS which is trying to get converted to DVD" so far the Comment has been deleted and there is not word if he converted it. I would Love to see it. So if you live in Australia your a Archivist like me we have to try and find the Script or a VHS, Betamax and Broadcast Production Video Tape of the Pilot
