Of all the lost (or recently discovered media) out there, what's on your checklist that you either hope resurfaces or you're in the process of tracking down yourself?
Currently working on getting some JPN Gregory Horror Show DVDs and releasing the remaining two Gallery Tour shorts that aren’t available online. It’s gonna cost me an ungodly amount for the discs + to get someone to sub it so I’m currently saving up my money until I have enough to buy VOL 1 and 3, as VOL 2 has a short that’s already available online.
Heavyweight Champ (1976) is one of my top priorities, but my leads always come up dry. Someone on another forum I go to said they knew some rare arcade collectors in Japan, and would message them, but they didn't come back with anything.
The Toho International Dub of King Kong VS. Godzilla (1962) is in my #2 most wanted. I have some ideas on where it may be, but it would be too costly and wouldn't be worth it in the end.
The additional unused footage from Game Of Death (1972-73) is on my back burner, since most of the footage is either in Lee's estate, or in Fortune Star's (formally Golden Harvest) archives and it would cost thousands to get that footage.

CMJ clubzone, it's a Christian kids TV show that has no found episodes,no found parts of episodes, only a promo
It's a stretch, but maybe you can get ahold of MartinGiadrosich on YouTube. He's covered some Christian kids shows in the past; including Colby's Clubhouse and Joy Junction (which is now almost completely lost), and there's a chance he might know a bit more about it. He hasn't uploaded anything in a year, but he's also on Twitch as EponaCroutons, though he's not very active.
The 3-2-1 Penguins animation test The Cartoon Network Subway commericals The Bob and Larry movie (Veggietales) Saban Moon (sailor moon but its by Toon Makers) Sailor Moon: The Mircale 4-D Songs from Cosmic Cafe Teamo Supremo (my most top one right now)

The downside for the media I'm hoping resurfaces or I'm trying to spark a search for is that they'll more than likely never be found since they're either over 100 years old or the only copies of them have been destroyed.
____
Shinin no sosei | Bake Jizo (1890s): Two of Japan's oldest films, and arguably Asia's first horror films ever made. They more than likely will never be found due to their age and that if they managed to survive into the early 1900s, they were probably destroyed in the 1923 Great Kanto earthquake or in the bombings of the country during WW2.
Lucifer Hammer's "Tales of the Midnight Hour" and "Descent into Beyond..." (1980s): The master tapes for their two early demos were reportedly destroyed in a house fire in 1989. If that's the case, there's not much that can be done. However, if I can find so much as the cover art, I'll consider that a success.
The Cavalese Cable Car Disaster tape (1998)[NSFW/NSFL]: The accident involved a military aircraft that got too close to the cables of the gondola during a flight training exercise, and as a result, twenty people were killed. The four marines in question were involved in a conspiracy to destroy the tape in a bonfire, and subsequently went on trial for both manslaughter and obstruction of justice. While two of the marines were dishonorably discharged for their involvement, the tape itself was never found.
Drakula's Death (1921) and Dracula (1920): I'm not too sure about whether or not more about either of them will be unearthed, let alone the alleged Russian version. However, with "new" information about J. Gordon Melton's third edition of The Vampire Book (2010), I'm pretty sure we're going to come up empty with any credible information to help us out.
The Bloody Board (2010s) [NSFW]: This one might be the easiest of the lot to work with, even if it's just any potential screen grabs that the Wayback Machine picked up on. I know that once 4chan heard about it when a Cracked article talked about it, the owner of the boards, Jamie, likely shut it down when it got flooded with porn and spam.
Ernst Dieter Korzen & Stefan Michael Mahn home video (1997) [NSFW/NSFL]: This one will likely never see the light of day, assuming it's still in the custody of German authorities.
Jeffrey Jones' "Enough Rope" (1984)[NSFW/NSFL]: Outside the mini series "The Dark Side of Porn", I've never seen anyone talk about this would-be potential snuff film. So, if it's in the custody of British authorities, it may also never be made public.
Russian child snuff ring footage/photos (2000?) [NSFW/NSFL]: This was mentioned in the 2008 documentary Snuff: A Documentary About Killing on Camera, which included transcripts of a wire tap with one of the founders of the company and a client in Italy. Beyond the documentary and two articles by The Guardian, there's next to nothing on this out there. I'm not sure if M5 is willing to disclose more information or not on their findings.
The Videos of Tony48219 (mid-late 2000s) [NSFW]: I wrote an article about him a few months ago, but I'm not too hopeful I'll be able to find more footage that isn't already on YouTube. Due to the time since his death, it's probably unlikely that his family still has his computer or hard drives(if it isn't in the possession of the Detroit Police Department) that likely housed the rest of his content.
This is just a sample of what I'm working with, so it's all up in the air.
Edit: I found the cover art for the Lucifer's Hammer demos, and apart from at least one site that has the tracklist for "Descent", I haven't found anything new. There's a site that had a review up for it, but it leads to a site error. So, no dice yet.

As of right now, I’m looking for a Ed Edd n Eddy promo that aired on Cartoon Network around 2003. It had Ed dressed as a piñata by being covered in post it notes and hanging from a tree. I have been asking around on message boards and such, but nobody seems to remember it. I can see it in my head clear as day, but it doesn’t have that dream like qualify that other things I know I’ve dreamed up.
JBVO DBZ episode was my biggest priority for awhile, might go back to searching for it again.
I remember seeing JBVO DBZ as a kid. Some kid called in asking for an episode and Johnny said that they couldnt air the episode because it was “too long a timeslot” so he showed still images of the episode where Goku fights frieza and narrated over the images

Yup also saw it as a kid! I watched JBVO regularly enough until it changed to a later time slot that conflicted with my bed time. I did a ton of research last year and concluded that the DBZ episode had to of aired at least twice based on my findings. Tried contacting an old super fan but their site was pretty dead and I'm sure so was their email. I really think if anyone has it, it's gonna be a Johnny Bravo super fan which there were actually quite a lot back in the day.
Edit: Just now noticed you said still images, it was actually the episode just sped up. A really short clip is up on YouTube.

Just out of curiosity how do you find out how often an episode was played? I know there are a few times I wanted to know exactly when an episode was reran.
I'm holding onto the hope that there's a professionally shot taping of the original Broadway cast of Rent out there. There's some promo reels, so at least some of it was taped professionally, but it's not known if they just taped specific scenes or the entire thing. There's also bootlegs of opening night, but they're not exactly the best quality.
I was also looking into the Raggedy Ann musical to see if the New York state government had anything from it (since it premiered through a state funded program). They didn't have anything online that I could find, and I started this at the beginning of quarantine when the offices that would be likely to have any information would have been closed, so it's been on the backburner for a little bit for me.

So I don't definitively know if it was aired more than once, but I personally remembered when I did see the DBZ episode it was before I moved, which doesn't match the YouTube video's clip time stamp in the description. I also went on the wayback machine, checked out Cartoon Network's website around that time and saw ZERO advertisement for JBVO. If you use the wayback machine for CN you'll generally find JBVO being heavily advertised, which it was not when I looked at the date provided. Also, I forget what my logic was here, but JBVO followed Scooby Doo for awhile and that was relevant although I don't remember why (I did all of this research last year so I'm fuzzy on deets). But I'm pretty certain I saw the episode in the year 2000, and the clip is from the summer of 2001 which would imply a rerun.
As for knowing for sure how many shows were reran, I think looking at old TV guides would be a good start? For Cartoon Network in particular they had their schedule up on old archives of the website. I think there gotta be other sites that show you reruns, I'd suggest plugging relevant terms into Google search and filtering the results to span certain years. I do this for a lot of searches in general.
