Showdown of the Godz - a short film starring George Takei and David Gasman. It had a DVD release, but I've yet to see a copy show up online. Also yes, I just made a thread about this.
I honestly, whole-heartily believe that Viacom burned the copy of "Dude, this sucks" after its controversy. There's no way they're keeping it around, even for archival sake. Could be wrong, but it would be really weird if that thing's still around.

Many, many 1920s-1930s records are probably long gone. My most sought after is Freddie Rich's You Are The Song. Every week I scour eBay to see if it's for sale yet.
Unfortunately, the full recordings of the Chris Farley Shrek audio. If the files were stored digitally then maybe we would've had a guy like Slipstream doing some data breach. But of course I am dreaming.
London after midnight wish I wouldn’t be posting it but it’s been lost for so long and the only known copy is revealed to be gone so unless if there is an unknown copy it’s lost to time
Probably the majority of the uncut gore footage from the Friday the 13th sequels. Those are just gone, and even if they do still exist, the negatives are likely completely unusable by now.
Also the original 130 minute cut of event horizon. I really want to believe a print in decent quality still survives, but with each passing day, it seems less and less likely. We unlocked the bad ending in both these searches.

The uncut footage is out there and it's been shown on Youtube but it's not in great shape.

Maybe, but in some cases, like for parts 2 and 4, the audio is missing for some reason (no idea why to be honest), and the trims for part 7 only survive today in workprint form, as a letter dating back to 1993 was found ordering the junking of the negatives for part 7.
As for event horizon, even if a decent quality print survives, I doubt paramount cares much about the film anymore. Correct me if I’m wrong, but to them, it’s just some stupid sci-fi popcorn flick that barely managed to break even at the box office, and I doubt shout factory will try locating that footage ever again.
I will admit, the story behind the 130 minute cut does seem a bit iffy; the footage manages to be in completely unusable condition from a few years in a Transylvanian salt mine? Mind you, considering the film came out as recently as 1997, when releasing deleted scenes was becoming more of a common trend among home video releases? There’s probably more to the story that is being held from the public.
The majority of videos of people dying that are lost or lost mass murder manifestos.
With things like Owen Hart and Christine Chubbuck their is a chance someone recorded it and stowed it away but theirs also a good chance that the families would fight to get it taken down immediately. The only reason tapes still exist in a vault somewhere is for legal reasons
Things like Steve Irwins death tape or Timothy Treadwell that were never released are never going to be released. They are given to the families who destroy them. If they do keep them for whatever reason they aren't going to put it on the internet for everyone to see and hear their loved ones final moments alive.
Lost Mass Murderers manifestos are without a doubt not going to be released under any circumstances. They are either in evidence file locked away somewhere or given to the families who destroy them. The Basement Tapes in particular come to mind, they were kept in evidence for years until they were given to the families who stated they destroyed them. If they didn't and are lying to get weird people off their backs then they certainly aren't going to put it on the internet so everyone can see their kids talk about the excitement they were feeling to murder hundreds of kids. Unless they posted it online before the murders, meaning it can be archived odds are its gone forever and doesn't need to be found.

I wonder if we'll ever find more of the 1970s animated Jack In The Box commercials [only three are on Youtube], the Engie Benjy live show, or the Engie Benjy song "Trucks Are Good"? Or maybe the Matty Mattel bumpers from Matty's Funday Funnies? I still have hope, but I really hope we can find these pieces of lost media, especially the JITB 70s animated ads.
