Second Chance, the predecessor to Press Your Luck. Currently only the pilots and 1 or 2 normal episodes have survived as the tapes containing the masters were reused by the studios and the show aired when VCR prices were at their highest
Preservation saves not only the media, but also the time and effort put into making the media.

I wouldn't say that one will never be found for sure as there's plenty of stuff from even earlier then that show that somehow got recorded onto tape.
All that was destroyed and lost during the Alexandria Library's destruction in antiquity. Just thinking about it and all that was lost during the Dark Ages fills me with dread. What? I'm an historian.
i'm one of the people who believes that it's fake, i could very well be proven wrong one day but right now i don't really think anything hopeful about it :/
Not sure if I mentioned it here already, but a LOT of fan content on fan sites from like 1997-2007 or so, think entire fan sites hosted on Geocities or Angelfire. For example, the Hamtaro series had like maybe 10-12 active fansites in like 2003, now we are down to 2 or 3 at most, and AFAIK only Ham Ham Paradise still updates with ANY regularity. I would also put some old forums here too, there was a Lemony Snicket one I followed religiously in like 2005-06 that I doubt is still in existence.
some of the controversial disney shit, there's too much to name, things pulled from production, some of walts old racist works, its all in the house of mouse and its not leaving
Possibly MANY prints of their movies made by employees for the fun of it. One of them for The Rescuers managed to slip onto VHS releases in 1998, so who knows how many of those fun prints are out there?
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

How about the many hundreds upon thousands of Sailor Moon fansites that existed back in the day?

Yup, among Sailor Moon, DragonballZ, and Pokemon, the number of lost fansites and fan content must be GARGANTUAN. I know sites like Serebii.net and official websites (think: WB Kids pages) existed for these shows decades ago, but think about how many individuals would have went their "own route" once they were done with "official information?" Especially with sharing of fan made content!
Marilyn Mansons Groupie, it's pretty bad when Andy Dick advises you not to release something for the sake of your career and given his most recent controversies I definitely don't think he's going to be willing to release something that's going to get him in even deeper shit. Family members, mangers and whoever else aren't going to want people to see it either wants he's gone.
I hate to say this, but, White Rabbits Can't Jump (the OJ episode of Adventures in Wonderland) Unless someone who worked on the show has a copy and leaks it or theirs a hack of some sort, their is no way in hell Disney is going to willingly allow it to see the light of day.
Lost animated sex tapes. There's one with Mickey and Minnie supposbly and Popeye and Betty Boop supposbly. They've been missing since the late 1940s odds are they're gone forever and have eroded over time.

I wasn't aware that Wonderland episode had never aired, I figured it had aired at least once before getting pulled. Maybe it aired somewhere overseas?

No it never made it too air. The murders happened right before it was set to air meaning they had time to pull it everywhere. The most we have is a kids book of the episode that was released before the episode that features screenshots of the episode.

Nearly every piece of British television made before the kinescope enabled recording. Same goes for most every country except Germany, and possibly the USSR. (You) will never get to watch "The Television Ghost".
Stuff that may not be lost but what we probably won't see? Stuff that was recorded on early home videotape machines with TV shows on them we probably won't get to watch again, but you can see listings for in early 1960s tape trading listings.
Movies that were burned up in various vault fires have a very little chance of ever being found.
There's a whole host of lost audio out there. Acetate and wire recorders were pretty rare (not unheard of; an acetate disc recorder comes up in the novel Dracula), and it's only by the most bizarre of chances that a recording of Queen Victoria's voice survives.
