I know that a lot of you are not going to believe me since this has never popped up online as far as I know, but that's fine. Just need to put this out there. I remember when I was very little, I used to have a lot of VHS tapes to watch. Mostly stuff like Sesame Street, Little Bear, etc. However, one of the more strange tapes I had was what I believe to be some form of animated pilot based off of the kids book "Duck On A Bike" by David Shannon. No, this isn't one of those shorts where a narrator is speaking over still images of the book they're narrating and whatnot, this was fully ANIMATED. I know this isn't some false memory, because my mom knows of its existence as well. Earlier today, she told me that years ago, she received the VHS tape thanks to an email she received saying that there was a test to see if other kids were willing to see an animated series based off of Duck On A Bike. Given the fact that nothing has ever been mentioned online about this pilot, it's a given that they never went forward with the show. The tape came in a blank white cover with no label on the tape itself. Unfortunately, I can't remember who made it, and neither me nor my mom were able to find the tape, as a lot of time has passed, and the moving of houses definitely didn't help. I doubt anyone else here knows about this, but if you somehow do, or of you have any questions, feel free to reply.
I know it says it was released in 2015 but sometimes Google points to other dates, like 2002. Maybe it's some kind of a rerelease? The resolution is rather low, even if you buy it (the page says it's in the SD quality) so it's not a far-fetched theory. I'm afraid the animation is too advanced for the time with all its stretching and bending, but on the other hand it's kinda rudimentary. There were programs capable of doing this back then. And its art style indeed is very reminiscent of an old production.
Oh no, the animation from the short I saw when I was little was a lot more generic looking, not very stretchy, and less like the art style of the book.
