Do you guys remember The Hub Network?
For those of you who don't know, The Hub Network was just Discovery Kid's but renamed, I guess to be more appealing? They aired stuff liked The Haunting Hour, My Little Pony, and a small underrated American TV Show, named Dan Vs. The show followed Dan, a man who lived in California, each episode was kind of like Scooby-Doo in a way, except instead of a monster, each week something new would piss Dan off. The episode would then be spent attempting to get rid of Dan's problem. It's actually not a bad show and I would recommend it to people with some spare time, but enough background, let's get on with the "Lost" part.
To promote this show a flash game was released on The Hub Network's website around 2011. I found out about this game probably around 2013, right around when I found out that the show was a thing. A few months ago, I was feeling nostalgic, so I decided to find this game and play it. I did a google search and...
Nothing.
I did some more digging and found out that The Hub Network shut down, and was later re-branded into Discovery Family. The website, however, also went down with the channel. After reading about this, I decided to track down a copy of the game on the Wayback Machine. I entered the URL, found the game I was looking for, I clicked on the link and no luck. Sadly, before the network was re-branded and the website shut down, not everything on that site was captured. One of those un-captured things being the page that contained the files for the game.
I did more digging, went through countless web-pages until I found it. The game that I've been searching for was on this site. Except it wasn't and the site I supposedly found the game on was actually some Japanese gaming site loaded with viruses. A Norton scan later, and I was back to searching. Unfortunately, everything I found about that was just news about either the show or the game. I can find tons of evidence of the game's existence, valid video proof that this game was a thing, but no legitimate file for the game. Which is why I come here, I wasn't able to find anything on this game, but maybe someone else can.
