Adobe Flash is going to be completely decommissioned in 2020. When that happens, there is going to be a lot of Flash content that becomes unusable. Is there a way to archive some of these things before they're gone forever?

The real problem with this is that there is so much related to flash that it would be near impossible to archive it all without a massive effort. It could be done, but it would take a lot of effort
That's cool but have random flash content on various computers is going to be really awkward when it comes to figuring out which games are lost and which aren't. There needs to be an online archive so we can keep track of stuff

Is Flash going to like vanish entirely, as in cease to ever work again, or is it just no more support from the company? Because if it is going to cease ENTIRELY there are whole websites that basically will vanish in 2020...so yeah someone has got to start backing it up. If it's just that the company is going away, then maybe not so much of an issue. It'll be near impossible to maintain after a while bu they will still exist in some form to, I would imagine, be rediscovered.

On abobe's front it's just going unsupported. However, most Internet browsers are saying they're also going to no longer be able to run flash because it's out of date. A few months to a year after flash is desupported, and there won't be any more browsers left that are able to run it.

Will it be possible to use older versions of the browsers for it? Cause like I said, whole WEBSITES will cease to exist if not...I mean wow, that's kind of an apocalypse!

probably, unless the websites in question suffer from a loss of traffic and decide it's no longer financially worthwhile to stay up...

I'd imagine, due to the massive amount of programs that are still relied on by businesses and consumers that have not jumped from flash, there will be continued unofficial support by enthusiasts other than the archival efforts through flashpoint.
