Farm League (or DC Nation's Farm League), is a series of shorts that aired on Cartoon Network's DC Nation block between January and June 2013. All of the shorts were later uploaded on DC Comics' official YT channel. Inspired by DC's funny animal parody of Justice League from the 1980s, titled Just'a Lotta Animals, these shorts star DC superheros as animals, whose names are either puns of portmanteaus of both the heros and animals they are based on. Preview images of Farm League were shown prior to the shorts premiere under a different title, Justice League of Animals, as well an entirely different set of characters. The vast majority of the characters were redesigned prior to the sneak peek preview at San Diego Comic-Con 2012, with different animals in mind, with the only exceptions being Robin's Egg, The Flish, Sinestropotamus and, to an extent, Cybug. Martian Manhunter (the vulture) and B'wana Beast (the bear), however, are nowhere to be seen in the shorts.

This picture was used to advertise the shorts when these were meant to premiere on September 2012. According to Superman Home Page on the link below, the shorts were originally planned to premiere on June 2nd 2012.
