I have been re-watching some of Lindsay Ellis' videos and noticed that since yesterday basically all of her content that she made when associated with Channel Awesome has been privatised on her personal channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/chezapoctube). The impact of this is best seen looking at her playlist page (https://www.youtube.com/user/chezapoctube/playlists), which is now just full of privatised videos images.
I know that some of the videos are on the Internet Archive (https://archive.org/search.php?query=creator%3A%22Nostalgia+Chick%22) and some have been mirrored on other channels on youtube, but now might be the time to try to back up what can before the mirrors disappear as well.
The Channel Awesome wiki has a pretty complete list of episodes, thatguywiththeglasses.wikia.com/wiki/The_Nostalgia_Chick. I am happy to start copy the list accross so we track what is still availible if people think the task is needed.
By the way this is the first thread I have started so admins feel free to move, delete etc as needed.
To some point, I can understand her point of view, as she officially left the site on January 10th, 2015 on bad terms and she had no intention of uploading all of the Nostalgia Chick's episodes (albeit with the comments disabled) to her YouTube account unlike other former CA/TGWTG producers anyway as she wanted to focus on her new style of video essays on popular culture that she still does today. Other content producers/friends of her would soon follow her example the same month, albeit for different reasons, such as Allison Pregler (she got fired because she wasn't around her computer to talk on Skype with Doug and CEO Mike Michaud within 15 minutes over the company's notorious poor treatment of producers who wanted to promote their Patreon pages and posted Brad's Patreon video on the site without telling them), Phelan Porteous (Allison's real-life boyfriend; quitted the site out of protest of her firing), and Andrew Dickman (the title card artist for some of the producers; also left out of protest of Allison's firing and to focus on his previous career as an animator and artist) on January 12th, and Kyle Kallgren resigned from the site on January 13th for feeling like he doesn't fit in the site's style of comedy anymore as his newer videos were becoming more serious and analytical in tone in contrast to his older videos, which were straight reviews.
Another factor of her privatizing her older videos maybe the fact that they were scripted and don't contain her actual opinions on the subject/film, just opinions written for the character she played as. She also is tired of people seeing her character as a role model and feminist as she wasn't intended to be a saintly character and was quite immature in boasting her opinions on feminism, but people just liked her character for all the wrong reasons.
Other former CA/TGWTG producers have privatized their older videos for other reasons like Allison refusing to re-upload her 2014 Obscurus Lupa Presents crossover review and blooper reel of A Talking Cat!?! with the Nostalgia Critic to her YouTube account due to her later public falling-out with Doug and being connected to a filmed, but never-released Shut Up and Talk interview with him during her time in Chicago that soon after the filming was finished and everyone had left the set, Michaud cornered her and told her that her use of mid-rolls on her videos (and Phelan's use of it too) were causing people to turn on Ad Block and affecting their revenue, even though she needed them to pay her bills, and lead to her crying in the studio's bathroom and when she asked for Doug's help, he pretty much sided with his boss and said that the amount of mid-rolls on videos posted on the now-defunct video sharing website Blip were to be limited.
But Lindsay is a special case where she decided to privatize all of her videos just so she can't be connected to the character anymore, which for the most part, I can understand and empathize with, seeing as CA had many behind-the-scenes troubles that came to light throughout March to April 2018 and the site's management was terrible at communicating and managing with the site's producers that only got worse when the company's PR representative Holly Brown was fired from her job in February 2013 and was barred from working in the industry for three years.
I'm not opposed to the idea of finding her older videos (however, Lindsay may not appreciate that), but I just wanted to point out possible reasons why she decided to privatize all of her Nostalgia Chick videos and the way they were made at a time when she was still associated with the site. It's a shame for some of her older videos, like her "Top 10 Worst Disney Sequels" and "Top 5 Least Worst Disney Sequels" as they have some of the best commentary on Disney's direct-to-video sequels from the late 1990's to the mid-2000's, but I can still respect her reasons for privatizing them.

Despite the frustrations of normal day life we go through, the best thing to do about it is still being happy for our friends and family.
I completely get what you are saying and if I am being honest the writing has been on the wall for this for a while and I am kicking myself for not getting copies of everything (although I did get the Disney direct to video vids, happy to send them through to to you). Once I get home I will check the list and upload to the thre, with links t what can still be located. A quick look yesterday had me able to locate a lot of the vids with a variety of subtitles and for a lot a Russian dub and I think the transcripts are available as well.
I think what was strange to me was the fact that she had uploaded the older stuff to her channel and has had it up for so long, compared to so many ex CA alum that never reuploaded to start with. Even if she does want to remove her association, for posterity I would hate to lose content that brought enjoyment to so many over the years.
I know I shouldn't double post but I needed to share the Google Doc I have started tracking down Nostalgia Chick vids, feel free to add any others you find or if you find better versions, noting that Original Version > Orginal Audio with Hard Subtitle > Dubs (primarily Russian from what I have seen).
Yes I know I am multi posting but it looks, like the majority of the archiving needs will be redundant. Lindsay has tweeted that a new channel for most of her CA era vids is on the way.
