Basically, it was this DVD released around 2002 by Lionsgate Home Entertainment, and has 2 specials combined into one DVD.
“Mr. Bill Does Vegas” is about Mr. Bill receiving a voice call from someone saying that he (Mr. Bill) is gonna open for Wayne Newton in Las Vegas. Mr Bill then gets some advice from some celebrities like Father Guido Sarducci (who also appeared on “Mr. Bill’s Christmas Special”) for example. While he’s in Las Vegas, Mr. Bill also does some casino games like Craps, Slots, etc. He even does golf as well. Then he opens up for Wayne Newton, and while he’s trying to tell some jokes, the crowd boos at him, similar to when he was trying to tell some jokes as practice in Hollywood. Eventually, Wayne cuts a rope with scissors, and a sandbag falls on Mr. Bill, thus making the booing crowd laugh at his fate. Later on, Mr. Bill becomes famous in Vegas, and takes part in the demolishing of the Aladdin building, where he ends up getting crushed in the debris, thus ending the 1st special.
The 2nd special, “Mr. Bill Goes Hollywood” was about Mr. Bill living his life in Hollywood, CA, while living in (I think) the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel.
The special is basically segments from a (currently lost) Fox Family Channel show called “Ohh Nooo! Mr. Bill Presents”, which ran from 1998-1999.
Here’s the list of segments:
1. Mr. Bill Acts - Mr. Bill tries acting class, but fails at it.
2. Mr. Bill Learns Karate - Mr. Bill goes to a karate class for self-defense.
3. The Biliad and the Odyssey - It’s a Mr. Bill version of that Trojan horse story, and yeah.
4. Mr. Bill Gets a Dish - Mr. Bill gets a new satellite dish, which later turns out to be a Death Star ray.
5. Mr. Bill Rocks Out - Mr. Bill meets a fictional rock band called Johnny Putrid and the Projectiles, and even takes part in the band’s 2 songs, “You Bring Me Down”, and “Eat Your Head”.
6. Mr. Bill’s Traffic Report - Mr. Bill gets a job as a traffic reporter, and also chases down a runaway car.
7. Mr. Bill Watches the Oscars - Mr. Bill accidentally receives an invitation for the Oscars that was supposedly for Sluggo in the mail.
8. Mr. Bill Plays Ball - Basically what it says on the tin. (He plays baseball)
9. Mr. Bill Gets Abducted - Mr. Bill and Spot get abducted by aliens who look like Mr. Hands and Sluggo.
10. Mr. Bill Goes Bowling - Again, basically what it says on the tin. (It’s also longer than the version shown on ON! MBP)
11. Tiny Bill Bitty - I forgot what it was about.
12. Mr. Bill Runs Some Errands - Again, basically what it says on the tin.
13. Mr. Bill Does the Weather - Mr. Bill becomes a weatherman, and later on, bad weather starts heading towards him.
14. America’s Least Wanted - Mr. Hands takes part in the show America’s Least Wanted.
15. The Invention Convention - Mr. Bill goes to an invention convention to see all kinds of new inventions.
16. Mr. Bill Gets Cloned - Mr. Bill has so many errands to do, but there’s only one of him. Mr. Hands then tries to clone him by combining a sample of his (Play-Doh) hair with Spot, thus making clones of Mr. Bill (but with Spot’s legs).
17. Mr. Bill Goes Shopping - Basically what it says on the tin, and takes part in a contest where everything you buy is free. (Ala like Supermarket Sweep or something)
18. Mr. Bill’s Spring Cleaning - Mr. Bill decides to do some spring cleaning, and stumbles upon some old stuff in the attic.
19. Mr. Bill Moves to Malibu - Mr. Bill decides to move to Malibu after receiving a lot of checks for all the shows he did on SNL. But after he gets to Malibu, a flood comes in, flooding his new house. When he gets back to the (I think) hotel, his room was already trashed by Ren and Stimpy when they moved here.
20. Mr. Bill Does Leno - Mr. Bill becomes a guest star on NBC’s The Jay Leno Show. (Guest starring Jay Leno)
21. Mr. Bill Goes to the Zoo - Basically what it says on the tin, and later on, a rhino escapes from the zoo, and attacks Mr. Bill with it’s horn.
22. Mr. Bill’s Great Outdoors - Mr. Bill goes camping in a forest.
23. Mr. Bill’s Vacation Movies - Mr. Bill takes a look at his old vacation movies. (Footage from this was also used in an Anerica’s Wetland PSA, alongside with footage from “Mr. Bill’s River Tubing Adventure”, which was from the 20th Anniversary Special)
24. Mr. Bill Goes to Space - Mr. Bill works for SASA (a parody of NASA), and meets some astronauts. (Albeit poorly dubbed by Walter Williams himself)
25. 2013: A Bill Odyssey - A Mr. Bill parody of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Nuff said.
Originally, I promised to upload all of the shorts, but now, I’m selling my PS2 on eBay, so I can’t upload more shorts from “Goes Hollywood”. Hopefully, any one of you guys out there has the Mr. Bill Does Vegas/Goes Hollywood DVD, and uploads both segments from said DVD.
