ever since I went on wikipedia to see a page of the 1960s tv show (which got rebooted in the 1980s) the jetsons
and for some reason
if you look at the broadcast part of the page
the show aired on cbs and nbc saturday mornings during the 1970s (and 1960s btw)

after I found out about it
I've decided to go to the daytime schedules of the saturday morning lineups of the 1970s & 1960s
and it was true
the jetsons really did air on cbs & nbc! (before reaching syndication starting in 1976)

and btw when I was on youtube months ago
there appears to be an actual capture of an nbc airing of the jetsons
it was clipped by mejo kallathanam (even if it wasn't his tape)
and it appears he found the tape from this: archive.org/details/ABC_CBS_NBC_Saturday_Morning_Cartoons_2-10-79_WOC/VIDEO_TS/VTS_01_3.VOB it shows 30 seconds of an episode I forgot about and the intro...in a way that confuses me...it later gets cut to the abc saturday morning lineups of the 1978-79 television season...
1. a random commercial
2. some koolaid commercial
3. an original broadcast of the all new pink panther show
4. i don't wanna say the whole
I later on found it in June of 2024 and it was actually an airing of the show during the 1978-79 television season
so it was an early 1979 airing all along
and I thought it was a fall 1979 airing...wow man
