Hello! I'm just going to say real quick that if I made any sort of mistake or posted this in the wrong place, then please tell me.
So there was this children's series that aired on CTV 2 Alberta (then named Access) called Harriet's Magic Hats. According to Wikipedia, it aired from 1980–1986. It was about a young girl named Susan. Susan's aunt Harriet had an attic full of hats. The hats were magic, and when Susan wore one, she would be transported to a place related to the hat. There she would usually meet a person who works in a certain profession related to the hat. The whole point of the show was to teach kids about many different professions and what they did. Each episode ran for roughly 15 minutes.
I first heard about the show from my mom, as I wasn't even alive when it was airing. I became interested because she was in a short portion of one of the episodes. We managed to find the episode she was in on Youtube, and that was it for a bit. When I watched it again by myself, I realized how lucky we were that we could find her episode, as when I looked further, I realized only 15 of the 52 total episodes were on Youtube. I searched the internet for them, but only those 15 were available.
According to the comments on the Youtube uploads, a lot of Canadians remember this show (well the ones that were alive for it). I really would really love to see more Canadian television history get found, and the already found episodes are super wholesome and fun.
I've created a spreadsheet to track all the episodes (the episode list found on thetvdb.com. I don't know how fully accurate it is, but it was the only one I could find).
Spreadsheet: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gfuzQ-oJ9RmWWzjXvwqKJqAciCd4MUYdDiaKvnVHiFY/edit?usp=sharing
I also found the theme song for the show: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm8REOibmgA&ab_channel=TheNostalgicCanadian
I don't know about any leads, and I'm pretty new to actually searching for lost media, so any help is appreciated!
