Hello! I hope I’m doing this correctly. Right off the bat I do also want to say that this is NSFL, though I won’t be linking anything because I do think that’s against the rules.
I chose to make this thread because I’ve never seen anyone outside of the Spanish speaking lost media community and specifically the Mexican side of it, talk about this show that aired around the 2000s on the Mexican TV channel Televisa/Galavision. As the title says, the show’s name was “Escándalos Deportivos” and was a program that showcased real life accidents people were involved in. I remember watching this show once as a child, as Televisa was the one channel that I watched often apart from CBeebies and the History Channel. The only segment I remember is of an accident that bullfighter had while in a bullfight that did obviously involve the bull. As far as I know, nothing was ever censored in the show, not even grave injuries. I believe even actual deaths were showed on this show. My mom also says that she remembers this show, though she remembers it as “Deportes Extremos” or “Escandalosos Extremos.” It does seem that many people remember different names for the show but the official one is indeed “Escándalos Deportivos.”
There are no full episodes of this show available online as far as know, but there are various clips available on a Mexican (Galavison) commercials compilation from 2004 (paupingus2 on YT) and from Alez Rodribrez V and 1RV1N6 both on YouTube. There’s an article on this show on the Spanish language Lost Media wiki (Lost Media en Español) though it is obviously in Spanish.
I apologize if this is all badly worded! I’m not the best at explaining things, but I did just want to discuss this here since I was a bit intimidated by the thought of posting it on Reddit haha I do want to say that I’m not a part of the search or of any search for that matter, but I did just find this topic very interesting since I remember this show from when I was younger.
