so there's a bunch of these animated mcdonald's ads from pakistan, that were infamous for their weird animation and music a few years back. a bunch of them were uploaded on this youtube channel @hidearshake, seemingly from someone involved in organizing those promotional campaigns (hyder shaikh)
a few weeks ago, i found the company that produced the animation for these ads, image dynamics in pakistan.

- a promotion for a soccer themed happy meal, with a kick counter toy
- a small clip of the mcdonaldland character grimace in superhero attire
- a weird talking sun
- a promotion for a sonic the hedgehog themed happy meal, big the cat is shown
i checked out an old archive of the ID website (dated mid-2009), spotting these stills in the embedded flash newspage
- a still of the superhero ad from earlier, showing other mcdonaldland characters in similar getups
- another still showing mcdonaldland characters, which is impossible for me to describe. just look at the image
i did try to see if i could download the older showreel listed on the archive (IMAGE DYNAMICS Showreel Ver2.mpg and Production ShowReel Ver2.0-1.mpg), but none of the files on the page were archived, nor were any other files on other pages that could've proved useful
there's also another animation reel, by someone else involved in the production (agha haider ali). it shows some more clips of the ads previously discussed here: youtu.be/sQRapwmJdbc
- longer clips of the sonic ad, showing sonic, knuckles, big the cat, tails, and cream
- some unrendered animation of the sonic ad
- longer clip of the soccer ad, seemingly the almost full commercial
so far there has been one full ad recently found not on the hyder channel, one for a myscene/hot wheels happy meal.
youtu.be/g5X5FxmCmDw i'm not sure where this one popped up from, it was found months before the resurgence of interest in these ads, it's not shown in any of these previously mentioned reels, and there was no source given on the original archive.org upload.
personally i would love to see these full ads get found. i live for the weird animation and almost improvised sounding music
these clips and stills are all i've been able to find on my own so far, i figure it would be best to turn to this place to see if any others would be willing to try hunt down some of this content.
