Why increasingly more Unidentified Media in Wrong Section?

Probably new users thinking that it’s lost and not unidentified.

It's very easy for mods to fix, though. What is much more annoying is when some people mistake the actual LMW for a forum, and they make a new page for describing their unidentified media on the LMW. What is even worse is that even after these pages get deleted by mods, the same new users will sometimes re-create their unidentified media page on the LMW, which then has to be deleted again! Fortunately these new users can be timed out after that happens.

I attribute it to just being impulsive, not reading, and pure laziness.

I don't know how many times we need to tell people that you cannot know if something is genuinely lost if you don't even know what it's called and it's, at best, a fuzzy memory. It's not made any better by people who automatically think something is lost and they can't be bothered to do actual fact checking and research. They just post it here to wash their hands of it and no work needs to be done to them.

I try to be understanding about this kind of thing, but also, the correct subboard is three spots right under the lost media one. It's not hard to miss at all and it's not like it's hidden or anything.
