This is my story about a game called The Silver Brumby: Bravery in the Bush.
The Silver Brumby novels are well known and iconic here in Australia, enough to spawn an animated series. And from that animated series came a pc game for young children (3-8).
I managed to find two sources even mentioning the game online, someone's personal horse-themed blog (I can no longer find it, it was up a year or two ago and had a couple of screenshots) and a national digital media archive who has, to my knowledge, the only copy confirmed to still exist, which I have included (edited, for brevity) below:
My Enquiry (15/07/2023):
I have recently been researching (for personal reasons) old pc games that I remember playing in my childhood, in the hopes I could uncover some and play them again. My attempts to track down this particular game (Bravery in the Bush) have uncovered very little online about the game, leading me to conclude that it is far more obscure than other games I remember playing. My attempts at tracking down copies of this game have led me to believe that ACMI [The Archive I mentioned] has the only copy of the game known to exist online, making it a true example of lost media. My own memory of the game comes from a copy borrowed from a local library, and very few (if any) of these across the country would likely still possess the game in their collection.
[3 paragraphs of irrelevant information removed, all about preserving old pc games]
I am simply one of the (seemingly) very few members of the public who remember this game existed, let alone played it (if only briefly).
The Response (17/07/2023):
Thank you for your enquiry regarding The Silver brumby : bravery in the bush (PC & Mac).
I would be happy to put this title on our priority list for imaging and as a potential emulation candidate but making it more widely available online will require some copyright negotiation as the rights are held with Roadshow Television.
We can have a look at the game in coming months, it may be something you can come in play on our wifi footprint in the future.

I'm mostly bringing it up to see if I can reach anyone else who may have played the game or have a copy.
