While I was looking for a new wallpaper I found one that I really liked, including the music. I decided to use Shazam to look up the name of the song. It was called "Rings of the Sun" by Edge Echoes.
I head on to google and searched up in the name in the bar. I was surprised to see only one Spotify link that looked anything relevant to my search. There wasn't any other media site that was hosting this music.
When I clicked on the Spotify link it lead me to an Album with all of the music unplayable. Curious, I head on over to the account that created the album and the music. The account, Edge Echoes, appeared to be abandoned.
I was curious to see why so I first decided to use my VPN to see if it was country restricted. That didn't work.
Maybe I could use inspect element? Nothing. Maybe if I search up the creator I can find his other media accounts. No a single trace of this person.
I was desperate and decided to head on over to the Wayback Machine and put the URL of the album in hoping for something. Eureka! There were 2 archives from August of 2019. It was only 30 seconds samples of the playlist though. It also archived the account which seemed to be active at the time with a fairly small amount of monthly listeners and followers. There was also 2 other albums he released, Edge Echoes Vol. 2 & 3. (Couldn't find anything on these)
I honestly have no Idea how lost media can be until now. All of this media almost vanished off the face of the earth and I really hope someone has some more information about this and what happened.
If anyone wants the links, here it is.
Only Listenable version of "Rings of the Sun"
PS: It's the video in the file that has the audio
