In 2016 or 2017, I remember seeing a video someone did going to a convention that showed off up coming products they are planning to release. It was a trade show or licensing fair, something along that line.
One of the booths was for a company that made plastic dishware for kids. Like this....
They had a set for Yokai Watch which got briefly mentioned in the video. My guess, due to the games not getting much hype in the US, these dishes were never released.
I am trying to find the original video I saw where this was mentioned, I remember the footage not being the clearest but at least it will confirm that these did exist.
I am sort of curious about this because I used to run a Yokai Watch blog on Tumblr back when it was getting released in the US. And I used to give updates on US merch releases.
