Most people know Playstation All Stars as a "Smash Bros rip-off" and it has pretty much been forgotten about by the gaming community (aside from a few fans of the game like myself). However what many people don't know is that the original concept for the game was much different from the "Smash Bros rip-off" that it is known as today. The original concept for the game was a 4v4 capture the flag style game with strategic elements based on each character. An example would be that Sweet Tooth would be a defender or Kratos an attacker.

What's upsetting about this however is that SuperBot never released any videos showing us the original concept for the game, despite the fact that the article states that there were "lots of gameplay demos and prototypes". I think it would be very interesting to see how the game could of ended up and to see how each character would have played, as well as how it became what it is now. Who knows, maybe the game would have done much better had it been less like the Smash Bros series and more of its own thing.
So hopefully some of you will be able to help me in retrieving some gameplay footage or even concept art for this early stage of Playstation All Stars so that we can see what the game possibly could have been like. I suggest tweeting @sonysantamonica as they are the publishers of the game.
