As my previous thread about the Cineplex TimePlay campaign for National Geographic's Brain Games television series from 2013 struggled to gain any attention, I realized that it was very niche, so I decided to make a thread for TimePlay as a whole.
I already explained what TimePlay is in that post, but if you don't remember, it's some sort of platform where players connect their devices to a big screen to play all sorts of games, such as platforming, sports, trivia, etc. The company that created the platform has since parted ways with Cineplex, and thus the platform no longer runs in those theaters.
Anyways, I've been struggling to find more images and/or footage of TimePlay games (usually ones for the reoccurring Power Play segment involving trivia questions and the like) back when the company was still working with Cineplex (the later TimePlay Live is excluded from this post), especially before the rebrand starting in 2017. Some games I've been keeping an eye on include:
I've managed to find several images of them (most of which come from the official Twitter account) which you can see below, although a good chunk of them are low-quality. I also haven't found a lot footage of those games, though I have found several videos of "Screen Test" on YouTube (but none of those footage came from the 2014-17 era where the space graphics were updated) and one of "The Big Picture" (on Cineplex's official website—which has been taken down, but I managed to archive it before that happened—but only from the aforementioned 2014-17 era). If you're curious what they look like, check out the below tweets and image. If anyone else who remembers any of the TimePlay games could find more images and/or footage of them, especially the ones I mentioned above, I'd be happy. Thanks in advance!
(I think I remember seeing this one on an official website related to TimePlay)

Some games I've been keeping an eye on include:
- "Three Degrees" (something like "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" where players draw a line between four choices to form a connection based on similarity; this is the only game listed here that I've never seen in action, if I remember correctly)
- "Wurdy" (players try to guess the answers that are concealed on the big screen with their keyboards)
- "Screen Test" (players watch patrons reenacting scenes from films while selecting the right choice)
- "What's My Line?" (not the TimePlay Live version that I remember; this one involves watching a short film clip and determining what spoken line comes next after the clip pauses; I remember seeing one instance of this game having a Finding Nemo theme, with the answer being Dory's famous "Just keep swimming".)
- "The Big Picture" (players attempt to guess what is concealed in the image on the big screen with their keyboard. The method of clearing varied between versions; the first version used from 2013-14 was your standard blur, while for the one used from 2014-17 was... I cannot really explain it well to be honest. I'll admit that I was "scared" of this one when I was a child due to the image suddenly enlarging after the answer is revealed in its earlier runs)
