Was there anything significant to make this considered lost media?

I wonder if recording a future Nickelodeon airing of the movie would have the same cut.

Are you sure there were parts cut out? According to someone on Reddit, it was aired in its entirety with no changes other than commercial breaks being added in. Maybe they’re mistaken, or maybe there were differences between the airings with some being trimmed down to fit certain time slots.
