Just whant to talk about better cataloging for articles becuse we are getting alot of articles now and if we keep getting more. We need ways to organize... purely looking though just the animation category I see found media, story boards, many dubs sometimes for the same show. I know the administrative team is working on it but I think I found a way for it to never have a problem with it again. We need a way to set categorys when making a article like how youtube has when posting a video.
It should start with a main listing
film, television, internet media, literature, video games, recording of real events, music, and misc, and unconfirmed articles should only stay just that.
Then there should be more 2ND and 3Rd listings like
Short film,animation,audio,episode(s)
Season(s), pilot.
stage plays,comic,manga,commercial,advertising,bumber(under misc only)
canceled,Unreleased, story boards , tech demo, cut-content, lost scene, Needs to be used so much more!
● So how this would work is that 1st when making an article, let's say I'm making the article for the 1910-1920 missing Felix the cat shorts.
●finished writing the article and I need to put a catigorys (how every this is gona get done) it would be
Film>animation>missing episodes (you can add short film to if whanted)
●anything under existance unconfirmed should only stay that and it's main catigory the title should explain what is missing.
FOR THE NEW SEARCH BAR
You can just search for missing pilots, or deleted scenes if you whant though a catigory button. 2 of them so you can still use main and secondary or even two secondary catigorys.
LOOKING THOUGH MAIN CATIGORY LIST
Looking though the side bar catigory lists don't need to change, but when looking at let's say animation, the names don't need to be as long anymore.
Also film and tv will not have any animation series in them anymore becuse in the animation section will have to have 2 seprate listing for tv and film.
Too help this out alot more we shouldn't need to put "missing episodes" in the title there should be a summary for article titles too for missing audio, episodes, deleted scenes.
So all in all after this confusing rambling. Let me show you whant I mean
