So I was looking through the comments of their training film “Welcome To A Winning Team” and I noticed this comment left by someone named Jayson Spears:
“Do you remember the hysterical "customer service" video around 1989? How to deal with rude customers? Like the drunk dude who demands ice cream? Or that old lady demanding to know why they put too much salt on the fries? Man, id love to see that one again. I worked at JIB from 1987-1994”
Another user named bloodclot seemed to remember it. Chances are this was a laserdisc video like Welcome was, which means that the earliest it probably would have been made is 85, since the uploader of Welcome put the date as 85. It would also probably be in the era where the parent company of JITB was named Foodmaker. I hope someone here who is more experienced with searches than I am can look into this. My searches of JITB Training videos only turn up Welcome To A Winning Team.
Edit: There is another customer training video made by JITB but it’s not the right one for several reasons:
1-It’s too old. The earliest I presume it could have been produced is 1985 based on the fact that the Welcome training video upload from the Media Hoarders cites it as being made in 85. YouTube also cites the Music used in the Welcome Training Video, so it couldn’t have been made before then. The uniform shown in the video match the Deadly Dangers video, which was made before the Laserdisc era.
2-It doesn’t made the description made by Jayson. Nowhere is the drunk guy or the old lady.
