Don't remember if you already answered those questions... but for the benefit of new readers, I won't shy from that!
Anyway, let me begin!
- What is your favorite type of lost media?
- What are your Top 5 most wanted pieces of lost media?
- Do you remember the first piece of lost media you remember wanting to find?
1. My favourite type of lost media (as in, the category that most intrigues me) is lost footage of real incidents. I'd probably say that I have an above-average morbid curiosity towards this kinda thing.
2. Christine Chubbuck tape, Clock Man, Wicked Witch Sesame Street episode, Heartbeat in the Brain, The Day The Clown Cried (though this list is subject to change, as it has done over the years)
Special mentions: Armin Meiwes tape, Snuffy's Parents get a Divorce (not entirely sure why lost Sesame Street material interests me so, probably because a good portion of the site's first articles were on things from Sesame Street), Timothy Treadwell tape, Deftones Eros, Santo Gold's Blood Circus, Game in the Sand, Jerome Rodale death footage, HORSE the Band Ghost EP, Uncle Walt, Columbine Basement Tapes, Angry Beavers Cuffed Together, Ringu Brussels Cut (if it even exists)... I could go on haha
3. The first thing that I guess you could call lost media that I actually tried to find was an old Australian ad about road safety that thoroughly spooked me as a child. I had been looking for it on and off, basically, not long after the first time I saw it (like, a few years after), over 10 years ago. It actually showed up online a few years back, much to my delight/terror:
In terms of more notable things though, it'd be the Armin Meiwes tape, which I spent many hours searching for and researching online between like 2010 and 2012. Needless to say, I never found it haha.
1. I see that you're quite interested in Christine Chubbuck's suicide tape. How did you stumble upon that story and why did it catch your attention?
2. Are there any interesting Aussie shows or media in general that you're currently interested in finding?
3. Where do you see the LMW ten years from now?
4. Besides the LMW, do you take part on other online projects?
5. How do you feel when a major youtuber or news site editor erroneously attributes LMW findings to LMWikia?
6. If you had to choose between Bashar al-Assad, Donald Trump, Kim Jong-Un and Raúl Castro, who would be your ally in your plan to destroy Wikia?
1. IIRC, I first came across the story of Christine Chubbuck on listverse in like 2008, 2009 while slacking off in photography class haha. I've had a long time fascination with odd TV occurrences (like broadcast signal intrusion - I actually witnessed one myself here in Aus back in 2007, was eerie) and I am also a naturally morbidly curious person, so I found myself doubly fascinated by the Chubbuck tape.
2. Yes! A show that was an absolute STAPLE of my Childhood was Cheez TV; thankfully, the hosts themselves have recently begun releasing old episodes, sans the cartoons (which is a little disappointing, but I get it, it's a copyright thing) which is pretty damn awesome. Even so, I still keep an eye out for any home recorded VHS tapes that I think might have some (and I have actually found several pieces of Cheez footage this way).
The other one I would say is Eat Carpet. It was a short film showcase series that aired in Australia from 1989 to 2005 (though if I'm being perfectly honest, I only found out about the show in 2003, when it was rebranded into its final incarnation -of which NO episodes can currently be found, much to my disappointment- though some older episodes have shown up on YouTube. Such a wide variety of short films, I found myself watching it religiously and every time my mind would just be boggling by the end, I absolutely loved it.
There's one more I'll quickly mention and that is a show called A*mazing, which was a kids game show that up until a few weeks back, I was unable to identify (thanks to Amdillae for IDing it!) but that I remember fondly from my early childhood. I'd like to see more episodes of that surface (there's a couple on YT) and for it to have an article on the site... Maybe I'll add that one myself.
OH one more - I was actually in an episode of a show called Totally Wild (it was filmed at my school and I was one of the kids featured in it) from 2003; I'd love to find that some day, I never actually got to see it when it aired, so it'd be nice to finally watch it.
3. In 10 years from now, I would like to hope that I had taken the necessary steps to have a MediaWiki professional iron out any kinks and really bring the site to its full potential, especially in terms of its functionality (in fact, I hope to do this within the next 2 or 3 years, maybe sooner if I find myself in good fortune) and to be the defining home of lost media. I would also like to be able to spend more time working on the site myself, writing new articles and such (which I currently don't do as much as I used to). It would be an absolute dream to be able to work on the site as an actual job, if we were able to make enough in Patreon funds, but that remains to be seen. I'd also like to get a lost media podcast up some time, but as for now that has fallen by the wayside, so... We'll see
4. Yes, but not a lot. Outside of the LMW, I spend most of my free time working on my IRL business, or gaming. Having said that, I recently rebooted my YouTube channel and have launched two shows there, 12UP (a mixed bag gaming trivia show) and LMW Retrospectives (which is me talking about my personal experiences in finding/helping to find lost media). I also like the occasional Simpsons shitpost and just goofing off in general and have been known to whip up silly images in Photoshop on a whim, if that counts haha.
5. Annoyed XD In fact, I recently (well, back in February) had an interview with the French version of VICE's Motherboard and even THEY managed to make a mistake and link to a Wikia article at one point (despite me having pointed out the situation to them... Oh well, I guess journalists live busy lives, so I don't blame them for the odd mistake); I asked them to change it though, but they still haven't >.> Cest la vie.
6. Kim Jong-Un. If NK can hack Sony, then they can hack Wikia XD

What are your thoughts on the recent rise in popularity of LMW?
What is your favorite movie?
1. I think it's great and I hope it continues to rise in popularity, since the more people interested in the subject, the more chance there is of more of this stuff being found
2. Cloverfield. Best cinema experience of my life!
1. Have you ever heard of Black MIDI? 2. When do you expect the volunteer rank to go into place? 3. What are the specs of your PC? 4. What are some drawbacks of looking for lost media and hosting a website in Australia? 5. Have you ever tried doing pixel-art of LMWtan?
all I can think of right now
Privileged white trash lol. If you're lonely, talk to me on the Discord.
Someone recently suggested that I do an AMA on here, so... What the hell, why not?
What do you guys wanna know?
1.If you could have any piece of lost media in good shape (no matter how old,if it is known to exist, etc) just fall from the sky into your hands right now.
2. I've asked many people this question and have got many answers but I'd like to know yours. Why do you want Christine Chubbuck's suicide tape to be found?
3.This is a rather odd question which I doubt I'll get an answer to, but are there any pieces of lost media you believe should stay lost or at least out of the public eye, If so, which ones and why?
4.Beard or smile?
And finally the most important.. *drumroll* 5. What's your favorite color x3
Id just ask you these Normally but I'm not one to randomly ask questions completely unrelated to the topic at hand or blurt questions at People :3 this seems more interesting and civilized.

1. Nope, can't say that I have.
2. I hope to have the volunteer system all up and running before the year's end (hopefully sooner rather than later, but my IRL responsibilities will ultimately determine the time frame of this)
3. Currently using a Metabox workstation laptop with an Nvidia Quadro K3100M GPU, i7-4700MQ processor and 16GB of RAM. Got it a few years back for a 3D graphics/editing course I did, hence the more workstation-tailored graphics card.
4. The main drawback of living in Australia in terms of the site and just, lost media in general, is that if I lived in the States, I'd probably have a better chance of (and an easier time) reaching creators of pieces of lost media (which are, let's face it, most of the time American). Although having said that, the internet certainly helps to bridge that gap, so at the end of the day I am still able to expand my reach globally in a lot of cases.
Not to mention, our internet sucks, so... The National Broadband Network can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned haha
5. No, but now that you put it in my head, I might just give it a shot some time

1. The Christine Chubbuck tape.
2. I want it found, if I'm being perfectly honest, mainly for the selfish reason that I simply want to see it. However, I also feel somewhat validated in this, as Christine took many steps to ensure that the footage would be seen by as many people as possible and that it would live on via the recording (that she specifically requested be taped) and as dark and depressing an incident it was, I still think that it should be preserved. It is, in my opinion, a piece of historically significant footage (the first ever televised suicide) and, morbid curiosity aside, I think it MUST be preserved (and I think this is something that Bob Nelson himself realised, resulting in his and Mollie's preservation of the last known copy of the tape, now securely in the hands of an unnamed, high profile law firm).
Should it be released? I think so, but only once Christine's direct relatives have passed away, so as to not bring them any more grief (namely Greg Chubbuck, who has been very open in his desire to have the footage suppressed). I think if it ever gets any kind of "release", it will be leaked online anonymously, after Greg Chubbuck has passed away. I don't mean to sound cold at all, I totally understand his position and if it'd been my sister, I would probably do the same thing, but... I think he is ultimately fighting an unwinnable battle, particularly given the recent rise in interest in the footage (namely due to the 2 recent Sundance films about her). People want to see this footage and Mollie clearly recognises its value, so I don't think she would have it destroyed, even if he asked her to directly... Anyway, I think I've made my point, so I'll stop rambling now XD
3. Anything involving violence towards children, I think should stay buried. The Moors Murderers audio is a bit of a unique case, since the mother of the victim actually requested herself that the audio be released, so that the world could know the extent of her daughter's suffering... Even if it was released though, there's no way I could listen to it.
4. Vegemite smear.
5. Green, closely followed by purple (as revealed in the newest notice board post )
