First of all, a second and third album of Christopher Saint’s songs is coming as they confirmed, but there’s something else: The master tape might’ve been found.
On YouTube a few days ago, Chris and Phil uploaded this video about “a special announcement coming soon” ( youtube.com/shorts/2BIFTgdp-jQ?si=gkQLibETcMzyhtk5 ) alluding to something really big being announced soon. It cannot be an announcement for the 2 new re-release albums as those were already announced, and I don’t think it’s something like “another song in the backlog” was found as they usually share song snippets they rediscovered through shorts without any anticipation, and the video has hashtags like #EKT and #ulteriormotives which he doesn’t put on other videos like snippets of “Till’ The End of Time” or other songs, and on top of all that, people who attended Scarefest and met them both IRL were told what the announcement was and have stated “You guys will be very happy” ‘Get hyped’ and according to someone who attended SF, It’s one of the things on this list of 5 possibilities ( https://www.reddit.com/r/everyoneknowsthat/comments/1gaerut/comment/ltd7yy3), and you can very easily rule out 3 or 4 of theses, so what’s left? It’s very likely to be the HQ EKT master tape

I saw that! EKT master was the first thing that came to mind. I hope that's it, i'd hate if it was lost.
The special announcement is being revealed tomorrow, so we’ll see

It’s basically the EKT megathread for the forums now, and since there is still discussion to be had of it (master tapes, the albums, etc) it’s still somewhat being held alive (As a side note I still think this thread should be renamed to “Everyone Knows That was found” instead of the all caps title but I digress)
- A huge lead for the master tape is being followed, apparently a HQ cassette of Ulterior Motives is at some sort of copyright office and their investigating that lead right now to see if that can go anywhere - The second album will release in December, third album confirmed (already knew this but looks like it was worth mentioning again) - limited edition EKT t-shirts were announced
It’s been 6 months since EKT was found, and coincidentally, something huge was just discovered.
Remember how EKT was found in an 80s adult film? Well. A higher quality snippet of the drum, guitar and bass instrumental was just found in an advertisement for 18+ services from 1992. Like, it is legitimately the EKT instrumental
Before this 1992 ad was found, a redditor found the snippet ad slowed down as a preview of a bandcamp album, dating back to 2020, which led to someone in the comments finding this ad: https://www.reddit.com/r/everyoneknowsthat/comments/1geacub/ekt_sampled_in_a_signalwave_song/ —— Time is a flat circle, we find EKT in an adult film, and we partially find it again in an adult advertisement 6 months later lol
In all seriousness, I wonder if the people behind rhe ad have a higher quality EKT, At the very least, I wanna know the story behind how this appeared here and if Chris remembers this at all.

My theory is that the song circulated with 18+ oriented companies to use as stock music.
