Hi, This thread came to my attention thanks to the bump. I’m not 100% on what exactly is being searched for here as I don’t know of TGWTG. I sometimes watch a YouTuber named Mike Jeavons who mentions he worked on TGWTG, had videos on Blip previous to it’s closure. I think his TGWTG segment was named ‘Shameful Sequels’ though I’m not totally sure. Mike does have a series called ‘Shameful Sequels’ on his channel but I’m not sure if this is an independent channel thing or something that’s been carried over from TGWTG iyswim?
For what it’s worth, Mike’s Channel is still up and running and he’s still very active on there, I follow him for his infomercialism stuff mostly. I’m not sure what happened to his videos that were on Blip but I vaguely remember him mentioning that he moved some of his videos over to YouTube in a vlog posted a few years ago... again, not 100% on that, but it’s likely.
If this wasn’t what you were looking for, I’m sorry!

Personally I found those review-shows to be really cringy and lame, but I did follow Nostalgia Critic for awhile so I was aware of TGWTG. I forget where I heard about them, but I saw LordKat made some videos describing the failure of the site and lays the blame squarely on management. I personally have no interest in finding any of these reviews, but I did think the LordKat videos were interesting. I recall thinking that this would make for a fascinating documentary or Disaster Artist/Ed Wood style film.

In the process of finding those links again, I saw there's been some new interviews of former Channel Awesome contributors speaking out against the company.
I say again, I think the rise and fall of the site would make a fascinating documentary someday. I'd love to see someone with the time, money and passion do so.
I wanted to make a joke here, but it would be too obvious.
Back on topic, I haven't heard of most of these. It would be interesting to find these videos. It's possible, though, that some will never be found. People are people and they delete things that they don't want anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of these reviewers deleted their old library of videos after leaving TGWTG, especially since many stopped making videos entirely afterwards.

Sorry to update this thread, but recently a long-standing contributer of the site Lewis Lovhaug as Linkara has left Channel Awesome and the site has purged all of his videos on the site in response to this. He does still plan to continue making videos on his own YouTube channel independent of Channel Awesome and he has no known lost content that I'm aware of.
This saddens me because back on the site's glory days, Linkara was one of my favorite reviewers on the website along with The Nostalgia Critic, Phelous, Brad Jones, Obscurus Lupa and Film Brain. I honestly pinpoint my lost of respect for TGWTG/Channel Awesome on January 2015 when Lupa was fired from the site and her boyfriend Phelan leaving the site in protest of her being fired. I was upset at the time because I was starting to really enjoy their content that they produced and I was sad to see that their content was no longer on the site, but I was happy to hear when they said that they wouldn't stop producing videos altogether.
As for the Nostalgia Critic, I lost my respect for him when he unfairly attacked Monsters University in his 2013 run of Disneycember and said the film was just as bad as Cars 2 (pretty much because the film is Pixar's worst reviewed film by critics automatically means it's bad)because he didn't understand that the film's shout-outs and playing with tropes related to 1980s college films were intentional, while making a completely glorifying video on Frozen titled "Can Hype Kill a Good Movie" that he dismisses all criticisms the film has recieved (while making filmsy excuses like saying that "it's at least better than those [other movies I hated and wanted to shoehorn into my argument]") and the only real complaint he gives is the film's overexposure that turns people off from wanting to see it (just to clarify, I don't hate Frozen, I just think the film is average and not one of Disney's most memorable movies for me). The rest of his Nostalgia Critic episodes post-2012 have not had the same impact as they once did on me as I feel that he spends too much time on the review's sketches and make more mean-spirited jabs at stuff he doesn't like.
The only people left on Channel Awesome that I'm still interested in is Brad Jones and Film Brain, and even then I only watch their videos on their YouTube channels.

Despite the frustrations of normal day life we go through, the best thing to do about it is still being happy for our friends and family.
Considering there is a thread focused on Lindsay Ellis' former "Nostalgia Chick" videos, I think this thread could use a bump.
The ChangeTheChannel/NotSoAwesome drama has caused a lot of videos to be lost or simply unresurfaced. Some of them are deliberately kept lost because of the creators's regrets/falling-out.
I hope that some more of the previous contributors consider following Lindsay Ellis’ example. She is creating a dedicated channel for her CA era content and is keeping here main channel seperate from it. It seems like a wonderful balance of preservation and disassociation at the same time.
