OK guys here's another update, Samurai-sky has responded to me and while they don't have recordings they did give some insight. They mentioned how the dub aired in Sept, 2012 like I mentioned in the first post in this thread. It dubbed all 20 episodes but it wasn't promoted as much and was not sold in physical formats. YouTube and NicoNico has no uploads of the dub either. This definitely confirms that recordings are the only way to find this dub. Again don't harrass Samurai-sky as they do not have any extra info. Edit: Should probably clarify that kope40 might have lost the DVD with the recorded episodes.
BTW lol I'm not dead. This thread has just been stagnant since I've honestly hit a dead end with this topic. I'll atleast try to not let this thread get buried but things are not looking good.
OK so long time no see. The search hasn't been fruitful but there is some new lost motorcity stuff that could be out there. According to this tweet there might have been a Korean dub of motorcity out there abd this logo is all that remains. Further down there's a comment under that, when translated, states there might have been a Korean only motorcity game. As far as I know this is the only mention of this game. So there might be more to be found. Of course the main goal of this thread is finding the Japanese dub but I find this also interesting. x.com/choiyw051108/status/1796477734748852243
So just found some new info. Apparently Julie's Japanese va, Takeda Hana, announced on twitter in 2012 about her appearance in the Motorcity JP dub. Just thought it was neat and don't harrass her, she most likely doesn't have a copy so it's not worth it. x.com/TakedaHana/status/225942410402861056
So I guess I was mentioned in a LSSQ video. That's really awesome but I did want to clear something up. The DVD that I showed from Kope40 was most definitely a custom made by them and the episodes in the dvd were most likely just the English dub. Sorry for the confusion but just wanted to let you all know.

Yeah I could tell it was a custom since there was no barcode on it, and I did mention that SamuraiSky cleared that up when they said there were no home media releases for it.
And you think the episodes were English ones? I had believed they were the Japanese ones and kope40 was just afraid to give you an entire pirated DVD of content. But if he said he can't help you, it would make more sense if they were just the English versions.

I believe they were since if it was the Japanese eps, they most likely would have kept the DVD and sent the episodes to me. It was a mistake on my part to just assume the DVD had all the dubbed episodes and just not clarify that they weren't after I heard back from them.
So long time no see but this time I bring some great news. After months of keeping the search going a breakthrough has happened. A user who I'll keep anonymous has given me entire Japanese dub of the show.
They have given me this mega link with everything: mega.nz/folder/3Fwn0TIS#0ZlHFdQCy4NEmssANXvsXg Just to note, you have to change the sites language from English to Japanese to hear the Japanese audio.
So that's basically a wrap on the search. I wanted to upload it to the internet archive but had some difficulty. If anyone wants to upload it there or wants to make subtitles then be my guest. It's honestly so surreal to have an entire dub found but idk be the change you want to see in the world. It's been a journey but my work here is done. Thank you to everyone who followed and messaged I couldn't have done this without all of you. Thank you
