Interesting, so you were the main vocalist of the song, what did this other "someone" do? They composed the song, but did they write the lyrics too? Can you remember what any of the lyrics are? Even only knowing the chorus would prove very helpful in finding this song. What genre was the song? Was it a Christmas song since the composer claimed it aired around that time on BBC Radio 1? Is "love is in the house" in the chorus? I'm intrigued and hope to help if I can.

anyways im gonna answer all of the questions here
"what did this other "someone" do? They composed the song, but did they write the lyrics too?" it was actually a mix between him and other classmates/staff that were involved with the project, some of them were my own that i thought of in the room.
"Can you remember what any of the lyrics are?" yes i do actually know a decent amount of the lyrics in the song, especially the chorus and a few other lyrics that were in the song, i will state what i remember at the bottom of this message.
"What genre was the song?" i think it was most likely acoustic, since it had a relaxing tone to it with a guitar as the main instrument.
"Was it a Christmas song since the composer claimed it aired around that time on BBC Radio 1?" no it isn't, but it did air on BBC radio one as the person claimed.
"Is "love is in the house" in the chorus?" yes it is!
anyways now im going to list some of the lyrics i remember, which are in order of the song.
intro: 1 2 3 4 (me)
*instrumental*
chorus: love is in the house, its in the house, its in the house. x2
*instrumental*
verse: love is in the garden, it blooms and it grows (the other 2 lyrics i dont remember)
chorus: love is in the house, its in the house, its in the house. x2
*instrumental*
bridge: when one of our friends is gone, we still remember and love him, love goes on forever, and ever.
*instrumental*
chorus: love is in the house, its in the house, its in the house. x2
outro: *instrumental* its in the house.
*commentary of me and the person who composed the song celebrating that the song was done, which is followed by me saying that this is going to be number 1 on the charts*
anyways that's all that i remember of the song for now.
also here is a fact about the song: the bridge line was actually dedicated to a classmate who went by arnie who passed away months before.
before i finish this post, i know where it was hosted, which being on the official website of Larkrise school before it shut down.
i hope you are all doing well right now, since its just got by the Christmas season. i hope that in 2024 we can find this lost peice of media! i've been trying to find the song again, when i found a problem
i dont know how to download files from the wayback machine.
please let me know how to do so, i would appreciate it!
also i forgotten to clarify, there is only one documented recording of the song. and its on the larkrise school website, but i cant find the specific newsletter on where its found.
the search for "love is in the house" is far from over, but it wont be long until its solved once and for all

UPDATE:
turns out i was wrong when there was only one documented recording of the song, i just now remembered that there was a few other recordings shared around by staff at the time, they would sometimes play it in the classroom, plus my family used an old laptop (its now missing/broken) with me searching on the site at the time of the songs release, and i remember listening to it + downloading it on there before it was missing/broken. so i was wrong about there being only one recording, but there is still very few copies.
also, I've figured out on how to download the archive to the website, but problem being that i still cant find an archive of any image, nor audio. i checked on the news section on the site, but there is no documentation of the song being there.
also i have previously tried to post the search on reddit before, but unfortunately there wasn't much proof of the songs existence + no snippet, so im not too sure if a web archive link would count as it. but i will also try to post about it on YouTube and discord, specifically in the "fond my mind" server.
but this is HUGE, it has now been proven that the song is REAL!!!!!!!!
we are getting closer to finding it, maybe by the end of January?
THE FULL HISTORY OF THE SONG + THE ALLEGED PRODUCER BEHIND IT
basically, in November of 2018, Larkrise school (the school i was in at the time) announced they were going to do a song like project for the fast forward festival, which was being hosted nearby in the Wiltshire music centre (if you dont know what the festival was about, it mainly focused on people with disabilities performing and singing) me, the producer, and a couple of other staff members and classmates, worked together to make the lyrics of the song for the next few days. a few days passed by and i was selected to be the main vocalist of the song, i recorded my singing, and it was finished in just one take. the song itself had lyrics often relating on how important love is, and that it could be found in many places, such as the garden and the school, which were mentioned in the song. what was also mentioned was the passing of arnie bell, a wheelchair bound classmate i was friends with, he passed a few months before due to an illness. the song was then played in the festival. then in 2019, after a musical that i was also involved in, also at the Wiltshire music centre. the producer came up to me to tell me that the song had aired on BBC radio 1 sometime near Christmas. i was happy that the song was played. then sometime in 2021, the website page for Larkrise school, was gone. the domain probably expired, but thankfully the file is still there in the wayback machine, sadly its unable to be played or downloaded. the only thing that remained intact on the song, was the lyrics. i posted both my interpretation and the Wiltshire music centres interpretation. later in 2023 i posted about it in the lost media forums, and the search slowly grew from there. i then made a YouTube video about it, and then posted it on this subreddit after my previous attempt was taken down due to not having a sample. then one day i might have found the alleged producer of the song, but i have not contacted him. and finally, i can say that the producer of the song, was most likely Karl Bevis. also the school also changed its name to Silverwood school, but i advise not to contact Silverwood, due to the song not likely being in there. same goes for Larkrise (edited) plus there is a lot of songs in the festival, so mine couldn't be the only one that's lost. because there might be a whole catalogue of songs that are also missing. i have also contacted BBC radio 1 to see if they have the song.
also, PLEASE DONT SPAM KARLS INBOX, THIS WILL ONLY CAUSE PROBLEMS. i want this search to be civil, and spamming people for the song is not the way i want this to be.
but that aside, thanks for reading. hopefully we can find this by 2025 -rowan
