What is widely considered to be the most tasteless indy wrestling event in history has been found. Matches include an "AIDS Needle Death Match", a woman urinating on a wrestler during a match. A stripper going through the crowd to give $5 "laprides", a wrestler named "The Abortionist" (who lead the crowd in a "rusty coathanger" chant) wrestling "The Great NAMBLA" whose gimmick is that he is a pedophile, promotion of heroin use, an actual ad for an adult video store (where ESW tapes were also for sale), and very little actual wrestling.
A little background, in 1996 the attitude era of pro wrestling was really heating up, and wrestling was popular. One style of wrestling was "hardcore" wrestling, which was based on the old southern/memphis style of few rules. This lead directly to underground and eventually ultraviolent wrestling. ESW, which was a blatant ripoff of ECW (a prominent hardcore promotion based out of Philadelphia) had the goal of being as shocking as possible. To this end, they created "Human Cockfighting 1996"
They did produce other shocking shows, but this one is particularly memorable for the pure absurdity and shock value, and is considered to be one of the most offensive independent wrestling shows of the era.
